Brake Rotor screw that wont budge for ish

So i was trying to get workin on getting rid of DTSS, and unfortuneatly i was stopped at the brakes. I couldn't get one of the brake screws to budge for the life of me. I used 2 different impact screwdriver in thinking maybe i somehow broke one, but both would just twist on the spring inside when i hit it with the hammer. All i got from the day was a nice sized blood blister from a missed hammer swing.

So, im trying to think of how i can go about removing the screw, since ive never really had to cut or drill out stripped/stuck bolts. The other screw came out with no problem, but the other one.. yea. i was going to try blow torching it some tomarrow with the good old lighter + axe combo, but other than that i've got no clue.

Use some PB Blaster and a torch. so I would try putting the PB Blaster on for once every 3 hours, then take a torch and heat that bitch up and take the impact wrench and screw it off.

I also second drilling it. You wont need to reuse the screw anyway, so drill it, then grind it flat and forget it.

I just had to do mine. Impact screwdriver worked on all but two bolts. One had the bit broken off in the head of the screw and second was mangled so bad that it didnt have the slots for the bit. But with the help of the right sized chisel and punch they came right out with no need to drill them out. Hope this helps.

Try "preloading" the impact driver. That is, turn the handle counter clockwise until you feel it spring into place. Then, holding the impact driver firmly against the screw, apply more counter clockwise "pressure" with your non-hammer hand and whack the h*** out of it. If you just hold the impact drive against the screw without applying the CCW pressure, it will just bounce out.

If you Drill the screw out..use a Small bit..followed by a Big bit..the small one will establish Depth, and the big bit will Drill out the Head of the Screw itself...What will happen is that the Head of the screw will come off,On the Big Drill bit.You can then see the Other threaded part of the Remaining screw, that is Inside the hole of the Rotor.then you take a BIG hammer and Whack the rotor at the back and it will Pop off...this leaves you with a Piece of Screw in the Hub,that IS Long enough to get at with a pair of Vice-grips.Then you can then Heat up the screw and Take it off with the Vice-Grips.
