My Master was leaking from the bottom of res. 88 GXL
I pulled the master from my parts car, 86
The one from the 86 doesnt have the electrical connection on the bottom, just the sensor connection.
I took the res. off of the 88GXL and i dont see why it was leaking, the seals look to be in good shape, i will atempt to rebuild it later.
My ? is
1. what is the bottom connection for?
2. can I use the one without the connection?
I getting new clutch in tommorow and i need car mobile by Friday.
Please help me out here
thanks in advance

im sorry i should have gave more info
the 86 had a 5 lug swap done by previous owner, and 4 piston fronts put on the car, i had no problem with brakes on that car, the engine has a streetport.
I would hope if he had a streetport done, and 4 pistons on front, he changed the master. He was and older guy in his 50's, not just a noob, he also had a couple of 88 turbos.
the 86 was hit hard by a hail storm last august, and the clutch recently went. Not worth the time to repair.
I swapped the engine into my 88GXL
I just wanna know if i will have problems with the electronics, if I dont use a master with that connection on it.
