Braided Stainless Steel Oil Metering Lines

So I ended up breaking one of those stupid plastic OMP Lines. I was going to rebuild them like someone did here on the archive section. Instead I opted to see if I can possibly piece together a braided SS set up. I was able to find all the lines, the banjo fittings for the injectors. The part store could not find me the fitting for the OMP because they don't make them that small. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to go with the nylon tubing as it will get brittle overtime and I don't want to purchase them already made because there $200.

I might have a set of SS braded ones, that maybe you can repair, they leaked, so I'll look when I get home I may have tossed them... I'll sell them to you for like $20 + shipping.

I do also have the stock metering lines, but I have the whole system that I either want to save or get rid of the whole thing...

I don't even remember when I got mine. Have you tried a specialty shop or a race shop?
Like Smileys? (they might be a southern thing though)

Yeah, that won't work. You could get in touch with RotorSports Racing, they contract out to Goodridge to build them. See if they would be interested in building you a set based off of your measurements. Or go through the Goodridge catalog nd get the end fittings that you need, then call Tom @ Carolina Racing Supply with all those part numbers and lengths. He's at Goodridge every day getting custom lines made. The quality of their stuff is phenomenal. It's expensive but damn is it nice.

FWIW, I'll be going through Tom when it's time for me to put this motor back together.

I would man up, but why spend 175 plug shipping when I can have it for 60-80. All I need is the female banjo fitting that goes into the OMP

Yeah, and? When I priced them out through Carolina Racing Supply with crimped fittings as opposed to the reuseable they were ~$80....... EACH. I spent >$300 on the lines for my FPR, EMAP, MAP, and a bunch of fittings. Welcome to cars, you wanna be cheap, or buy something that you never have to worry about again?

How are you going to get it for 60-80?
The fitting for the OMP is an M8 Banjo, found on pg 33 (crimp) or pg 28 (resueable) of the Goodridge Catalog
