Ok I have this bra that came with the car and I haven't ever really put it on until just now.. to see how it looks.
I can't decide whether or not to keep it on. what do you guys think?

I'll have a Coke!
I would say, use it if you have a need to use it. my nose cover color doesn't match the rest of the car and when i painted the body, i didn't get some of the wax off the hood and it really showed . So, that's my method behind my madness .

In my humble opinion I would use it. Bought my first '90 GTU new. She lasted 315,000 through 2001. Found a mint '90 GXL last year. Came to a conclusion. RX's are low riders. If you put a lot of daily miles on them the nose is gonna get chipped like crazy. Happened on a bra on a '90 vert in a junk yard and got it for $15.00. Needs minor stitching. Plan on putting on when that is done.
Reason.. I drive mine a lot. The $15.00 investment sure as hell beats a 3-5K paint job. Yup, it detracts a bit from the fundamental beauty of the car. However, taking it off with usual washes, waxing and letting it breath should not discolor and when I go to sell or show it, I have a clean nose. Purity is in the wisdom of the owner, not the observer.

I am going to put my bra on my car now and again .. I'm just trying to decide if it will look funny. Its a 10AE Bra in MINT shape. But the car will be black .. with a black bra. I will post pic's for opinions when I get it on there.
As for your bra.. I think the car looks better without it .. but thats a personal pref. thing.

You need a "Depending" choice on your pole..
I suggest you avoid notion of selling it on e-bay and consider the following.
If your driving your car on dry asphalt surface street, keep it off. If your driving your car on snow covered streets that have been sanded, put it on. If your driving back roads (going to be driving back roads) not necessarily asphalt, put it on.
But, don't leave it on 24/7 as over time the simple shifting from air movements will cause minor scuffing to your paint. The scuffing can be mostly avoided if you put on a coating of wax before mounting the bra.
Bottom line, considering where you live, I'd keep it in storage and put it on "Depending" on the road conditions you expect to be driving over the near term. Bra is intended to protect your paint. So put it on when condition are such that the paint needs protecting.

Bah, i hear what your saying ... but I don' think they were intended to protect paint. They were the rage on EVERY car in the 80's its like Bon Jovi & Def Leapord They were huge! now they are rock icons from the 80's.
BTW: I still don't change the station when "poor some sugar on me" or almost anything from slippery when wet comes on.
Call me nastalgic, or gay... I care not.

Bah, they do more harm than good. I've never seen anyone that was **** enough to take proper care of a car with a bra on the frront, so it always winds up with chafe marks on the paint and different colored paint.
