you need one now... and you need bigger injectors.

a 60-1 to4 on a street ported motor should be making around 300RWHP at 8psi and 400RWHP at 15.

Yeah you need an ECU and injectors way before you need that boost controller you were talking about.

Check out the ECU forum. I'm hoping to pick up a used Haltech E6K sometime in the near future for my TII.

If you have 520cc injectors, and no fuel control, Im surprised you havent blown the motor yet.

seriously though you have the stock 550's they are good till 250 hp, you really need some 720ccs you should get all 4 2ndarys and primaries, if you don't get a haltec you need to get an SAFC, An ignition controller, and water injection won't hurt...

Do it properly.

Get an EMS. They are fairly straightforward to set up, but tricky to tune. You can get help to setup the base map, but to have it tuned properly you will need to drive it to someone who is VERY good with their EMS tuning skills.

4 x 720cc? Well that all depends on how much boost you want to run. If you plan on running 6 psi, then yes, they will DEFINITELY be enough. If you plan on running 25 psi, then they will not be anywhere near what you need at all! Decide how much boost you want to run (or decide how much power you want to make and that will determine it) and then you can figure out how large of injectors you will need.

Yeah you need to go ahead and spring for an ECU. The stock one isn't going to be able to handle the timing at that kind of boost. You'd have to have it retarded so much to keep detonation down, that you'd be killing all the power in the first place.

PS: do you know what compressor and turbine wheels you have? Just saying TO4 isn't a whole lot of help. Is it a TO4B, E, or what? P trim turbine? Q (I hope not)? 60-1 compressor?

T04 60-1 is a great turbo for a street 13B!
Running 15 psi you should be able to make some good numbers... around 390-425 rwhp.

EMS systems range a lot in pricing. Anywhere from $600 - $8000. Most guys here spend about $1200 on their units though - like the Haltech E6K is a very popular one. Check out the EMS forum or just read posts in the single turbo and rotary perofrmance forums.

Sure it's $1000, but isn't the cost of replacing the enigne you would elsewise F*ck up more than $1000? Think of it that way. Plus once you have the EMS, no matter what mods you do in the future, you don't have to upgrade it, you can just reprogram it.
