boost problem

ok yesterday i was in the process of puttin on my MBC.. and i took off the wastegate line in order to put in the controller but then i accidentaly cut it wrong. so i had to try and get something on there to get it running for a couple days.. and i put on a hose which was slightely larger than the original wastegate line and now when i start to boost i hit cut out .. and on my boost gauge it shows me running 9 psi.. im just wondering if the slightely larger hose would have anyting to do with this problem.. any sugjestion will help,, thanks

If it's leaking you will boost higher. Get the right size hose on there.
