2.5", i know, but I'm sticking with 2.5 for now. I have no plans to upgrade the turbo anytime in the near future, and the outlet is only 2.5" so it doesnt make sens to get a full 3" just yet. So please, don't start the 2.5" vs 3" debate in my thread

Thanks guys

They seem to get quiet at high RPMs. Wierd.
Loudest around 3000 RPM.
Performance is OK. I think it would be too loud with headers.

I have an S5 T2. Unfortunately, I have to have a stock looking exhaust or:
a) I get dropped by my insurance.
b) I get stopped by police repeatedly.
c) even though it's a straight-through design, cops won't look at it twice because it looks absolutely stock.

oh yes, and i needed it to be quiet. Something like the racingbeat system, but if i was to get that, i'd go all out and get their full 3" system, but i wont be doing that just yet

What would their reason be for dropping you from insurance coverage?

Car can not be modified at all. I had to fight very hard for them to allow my aftermarket wheels/tires because they weren't the stock size, and since they might adversely affect my driveability. ALL ontario insurance companies are now dropping any modified car owners, its REALLY facked up.

Wow that really is harsh. I guess I could understand aftermarket rims and tires though since it could alter mileage but only slightly. Man that sucks. Do they also inspect your car before insuring it?

Yup. Just went through the inspection last thursday

They take pics of everything. Luckily, my SAFCII is hidden behind the ashtray door, the injectors can not be deemed modified unless they take the UIM off, and the downpipe? Well I'll just go ahead and take that chance, and blame stainless steel technology for making me want an exhaust that won't rot in two years

YAY! now i can add my performance air filter that's going to make me drive insanely fast and kill some senior citizens crossing the road while filing various false claims with my insurance company regarding damages

I have the Bonez superflo system with only 5 thousand miles on it like new to go along with that exhaust.. high flo cat, presilencer and the whole system bolts up to the stock collector and y pipe...gaskets and all..if you're interested PM me. With this system and the catback you bought it would be a very good stock looking system! details are posted in the classified section..

Thanks dude, but unless your supeflo system is for a turbo II, it wont fit although I do need a catalytic converter.

borla catback is all stainless steel and can be had for 400 bucks. its the same setup as factory...only the cans say borla and the tips are different. piping is bigger and muffs are straight through.

That's 10 times more than what i paid for the one i'm getting and I'll have to replace it when I upgrade to 3" anyway, so what's the point?

Thanks anyways.

ah forgot you had a t2 hehe. i was thinkin more along the lines of the usable exhaust you end up with afterwords. also you sure that thing you've got pictures of is a bonez? looks like the dynomax setup style.

edit ah woops. noticed the link to RP. uh..is rp and bonez the same thing?

yeah rx7.com makes bonez... same crap... no it's not the dynomax one. Dynomax uses superturbo mufflers which aren't straight through. These are.
