bolt size?

Does anyone know the bolt size / length for the bolts that hold the neck that bolts to the water pump housing (sandwiching the thermostat)? I stripped mine and need to buy a helicoil kit...

any suggestions on where to look to find this even? one bolt's head is stripped off and the other is lost.... and I have no freaking clue where it was put.

Any help would be appreciated guys....

It'll really help if you can jack the engine up slightly and have a u-joint for your ratchet.&nbsp Jacking the engine up will allow you to access the bolts on the front edge a bit easier!

They are actually 6mm x 1.00.&nbsp All the 10mm bolt heads should be this thread pitch.

Isnt he talking about the two bolts on the water filler neck? They are 12mm I believe?

Hahaha, OK, now it's just mass confusion!

Even the dealer couldn't tell us what size the bolts were, Voges had to order them, so we'll find out in a few days...

Yes, we are talking about the two bolts that hold the filler neck on...
