Body pieces for the FC
Well, I've been looking into repainting my 87 GXL, and I've been looking around at all the stock body pieces (bumpers, side skirts, wings, aero pieces, mouldings) and wondering what's all out there.
Hoods - Regular steel hood or aluminum turbo hood
Bumpers - S4 bumpers or S5 bumpers
Spoilers - 4 different ones are listed in the archive along with the louvers
Aero pieces - Rear wheel and oil pan aero deflectors on S4 models or side skirts from S5 turbo models and front bumper lip
Mirrors - S4 regular and aero mirrors or S5 aero mirrors
Mouldings - S4 or S5 side mouldings
And then of course there was the Finish Line kit, but I don't think I'll be finding one of them soon. From what it looks like in Victoria British's magazine, the fiberglass body kit they have looks nearly identical the the Finish Line kit though. Is there any pieces that I'm missing here? I believe that was all the different pieces to the car besides aftermarket of course.

If i was you, i would convert your S4 look to an S5.
S5 front bumper
S5 Rear bumper
S5 side skirts
S5 rear tail lights
It gives it a nice street look. Check mine out and see if you like that look? visit my vbgarage and let me know..

Never knew they made an NA aluminum hood. What model did it come on?
About the body kits, like I said, "I believe that was all the different pieces to the car besides aftermarket of course."
I already mentioned the S5 lip, "Aero pieces - Rear wheel and oil pan aero deflectors on S4 models or side skirts from S5 turbo models and front bumper lip."
I can't believe I almost forgot about the S5 tails. >.< I do plan on getting those of course, since they are bitchin'.
Next post will be about aftermarket parts.

Ah, so that's where the aluminum NA hoods come from. Good to know.

In that picture of the red RX-7, you can kinda see the oil pan piece underneath the car. Icemark pointed that out to me when I was inquiring about the Finish Line and aero kits before.

I can't believe I almost forgot about all the different types of wings/spoilers for the RX-7.
Spoilers - the Sport/GS flat rubberized spoiler, the Finish Line dealer installed spoiler, the 88 GTU/T2 spoiler, and the 89-91 coupe spoiler.
