BMXer's with FC's...? Bike racks?

Hey guys,

If you ride BMX and use a bike rack with your FC... preferably with the oem wing, then post up some pictures and info if you guys don't mind. Thanks! Kind of wanting to know as I'm thinking of getting back into the game. lol.

I BMX but stoped for 3 weeks now after a busting my arseee riding Some Trails with friends i Cut open my Ear Hit my Head pretty bad was knoked out for a but and wisted or sumthing my wrist.

i went to ride the local skatepark today but my wrist still hurts.

I have a FC but i put the bike inside the car, because the bike rack dosent fit since i have a RE amemiya spoiler wich is kinda high, and i dont want to **** up the paint or put a dent in it.

i would recomend just takeing your front wheel off and put in inside the car.

i will say this tho my frame is Painted Crystal White like my car =]

I just loosen my stem/headset and the bike fits perfect in the hatch area. Sometimes the bar end might hit the glass so I just top it off with a towel or something.

I'll look into roof racks if I go for it. I have some hook ups in that department. lol. But theres no way I would put the bike in the interior of my car. No chance in hell. lol. I did it in my old red FC all day long. Kind of just threw it in there but the TII is a lot nicer aesthetically on the inside.

I don't have a rear spoiler on my T2 so I just run a regular universal type rack. The brand I bought is "holloywood" and it's just a simple fold in half two bike set up like everyone buys. I'll get some pictures after Xmas if you still need some, but it seems to work okay. It's wider than the front triangle though so I end up sticking on side below the seat stays and one in the front triangle (21" T1 frame). The one thing though, you CANNOT run pegs or they bash the rear of the car REALLY bad, I ended up getting some spacers for mine to avoid hitting it as a pedal from my friends bike put a sweet dent right below the key hole, so try and get some extra rubber/foam etc to avoid that, but it works great, I go to the skatepark daily with it.

I don't BMX, I skateboard. I remember one time I was too drunk to drive so my buddy drove and my girl and I laid in the hatch and I had my legs dangling behind the passanger seat. seems as if we could fit so could a bmx with the wheel tucked infront of the bins?

yea i'll see if i have any old pics of my Royce Union team bike. it was realy heavy but the gearing made it one of the best bikes i ever had. i wanted to find another one and get back into BMXing and then transfer to a lighter bike later.

Royce union? Lol. I hope you weren't one of those kids that showed up to the trails behind 84 lumber/wendys off redbank knocking the lips off of the jumps.

Man, that **** used to **** me off so bad, especially when it didn't rain for a month or two and we had to haul water back there. I think *** moto guys destroyed em though.

I have a welded strut bar in my fc. I wont be able to put a bike in the hatch until after i cut that bitch out. I'm sure after taking the front wheel, bars and a pedal off, it should fit.

Honestly though, alot of your bmx bikes are over 15 years old..... Mines old and it's an 06 frame. Frame alone cost $360. I have more than $2k invested in it (this is before i started doing the car thing, obviously). Terrible one barcode, all fbm, primo and odyssey parts...... For your info, DO NOT BUY AN ODYSSEY CASSETTE HUB. GARBAGE. I've blown 3 drivers up, killed 4 axles and destroyed i dunno how many driver side cone nuts..... I'm hoping to get a gsport homer and go back to a freewheel one of these days. I haven't built a wheel in almost 2 years.

Walmart/sports authority bikes are ***. Buy cheap completes off www.danscomp.com or www.empirebmx.com. Support tom and tina. Straight outta austin texas. I dunno if empire still runs promo codes but if you use "anerous" you get free shipping. Use the code, not the *** toy.....tard.
