Blow Off Valve Lines ?????

Blow Off Valve Lines ?????

I have a HKS Super BOV , I just intstalled on my car. It has 2 lines that come off it, can anyone tell me where they go ? Thanks.

I have an hks don't know what but one goes from the intercooler to it and the other one goes to a vac source. what does your bov look like?

it has one line about 1/8 in on the end ( the bell looking part ) and the other line is about 1/4 in. and is located on the side.

that is way differant than mine but the greddy has two as well and one is used to just vent air so you just leave it open while the other one you supply a vac hose to. It may be setup like that.

My Greddy Type S has the same setup. If you have the bov out of the car right now you can hold it and put some vac hose on one of the nipples and block the other one off then suck on the hose and press on the plunger to see if it eases up like it should when vacuum is applied. Now do the same test with the other nipple blocked off and applying vacuum on the other nipple. If it has the same effect then you can A) block off one of them and hook the vac hose to its respective place or B) Use a Y connectory to tie in both vac lines. Hope that helps

well thanks , I hooked up a vac line ( 3rd one down on the UIM , fire wall side ) to the little nipple on the end. I have not yet ran it , but I'll check it in the morning.

on the greddy type s the vac hose goes on the large nipple while the small nipple is left vented.

well I hooked it up vac to the little nipple and it sounds right to me , I'm breaking in my motor so no real boost, but I think its right. thanks for all the input
