blow off sound

rst off im new..... so be gentle . i am used to muscle cars and piston engines so try to make it easy for me. i do know things about turbos and rotarys but not a whole lot. i want a turbo II and was wondering how to get the famous loud turbo blow off sound. do they make a very loud blow off valve for the t2? or are they all universal? would it work with the stock (or alittle above ) psi? thanks.

any turbo car car make that noise. but all stock cars make it quiet on purpuse. all you need is a new blow off valve. there are many kits for the 2nd gen. they really don't make any difference at the stock boost levels besides the sound. I think you watched a certain movie to many times

actually i started looking in to RX7 turbos about 2 weeks ago. i was riding in my 73 satellite 340 and a FD drove past and rev. i heard that blow off and it sounded SO SWEET! then he whiped my ***! ever since then i have been looking into the turbo II's.
p.s. i have watched that move alot but mostly for the blown charger.

mine's pretty loud. I have the blitz kit. there are a few others too, they all sound different. so it's hard to know which one to buy if you can't hear them.

I've got a Greddy Blow off Valve.
For mine you could adjust the valve to make it woosh harder or softer.
From what I heard, the HKS makes the loudest Woosh (maybe because they're so freakin big!) That one is also adjustable.
WOOOSH WOOOSH. Yeah baby that **** sweet.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the HKS is universal.
I know my tuner is installing an HKS on his 3rd gen.
WOOSH WOOSH!!

Talking

Damn now you got me thinking about getting white rims!!
The rims I got now are momo 6 star rims. The hub caps are gone hehe so they sorta look black but they're alum.
I am in the market for black rims (preferably volks since I'm getting an awesome deal).
