Blitz BOV not doing it's thing, are the ss and dd flanges the same?

So I have an old blitz SS bov that is no longer blowing off. Before I took it off for the rebuild, it would constantly go off, even in light throttle. After the rebuild, it's not opening at all, even after backing the adjustment screw out all the way, and lubing/cleaning the thing.

At first I was thinking it was because there wasn't an AFM anymore, but now I don't think that should effect it. The BOV is mounted right after the turbo, before the intercooler.

Anyway, I've looked for a softer spring, no luck. So, I was wondering if the flange for the newer DD BOVs was the same as the old SS BOVs. they look the same, and if so that would make it easier to swap out.

Anyway, thanks for any input!

Can you open the valve by pressing on it? Sure you have it hooked up to a proper vac source?

Yah, it will open if you press on it, but it's VERY hard to open. When I took it apart I had to have my brother hold the spring in while I removed the c-clip, and it took both his hand to do it pretty much.

I tried swapping vacuum sources with the source that feeds my EBC, same results. I know the line is getting vacuum and boost though.

The BOV internal piston valve ***** sideways, and it starts to gouge the bore.
eventually, it'll get stuck on you.
