Blinker CPU series specific?
Is the blinker CPU series specific on FC's? My right blinker doesn't work at all and both bulbs are ok and work fine. I am thinking the only two other things that it could be is the CPU or the harnesses to the bulbs. When I move the lever to the right I can hear it making noise but nothing is going on. Ideas?

Is it part of the "body CPU" ? or is it another box? I don't think ive seen or known that I was seeing one before. Anyone have a location on this biatch? lol Marks gotta have a location on it. Good thing its universal that means I have two spares! weee!

bottom board/plug on the CPU.
Once you have the CPU out, there is a single screw on the bottom. You will want the circuit board that has 6 or 7 pins on it. Just swap them (although they tend to fail from bad solder joints, or burnt up relays, so might want to purchase an already rebuilt one- hint hint... like the ones found on my website..

for those that still care, (I know this thread is 4 years old)...
The S5 body CPUs are not exactly interchangeable from Coupe to Convertible, however they are if you move 1 little resistor.
The instructions on what to do are actually PRINTED on teh board.
Look at the row of resistors just under the largest chip.
See the silkscreening that says:
"FC01 FC66"
One of the positions are empty.
ether the FC01 or the FC66.
Pic up the lower leg of the resistor with a soldering iron and an x-acto knife...
(gently raising only one end)
Then solder the (now loose) end into the positon you need it to be in.
FC01 for coupe.
FC66 for Convertible.
the other end is common so no need to move that end (the common end i speak of is the end closest to the chip.)
If you look hard you can see the circuit board trace is connected on that end for BOTH positions.
Good luck to to those that find and need this info!
