i believe its just a lense in front of the bulb that gives it a simulated projector look. headlights rely on the reflector on the sides of the bulb to shoot the light out, but the fact that the reflector is painted black makes me believe it wont be good.

Yeah I understand.
That seemed like a pretty cool idea. Wish it was real though!

I plan on picking up a set of those. But I'm going to bake them open and fit in Hella 90mm projectors and run a 4300k HID kit. Please do not put HID's in regular H4 housings. It's not safe for the people coming at you.

the only way i can really explain it is that you know how real projectors sort of look like half of an egg. well these ones look like a domed or bowed magnifine glss.

here i took pictures with the camera lens inside where the bulb would mount so you guys can see what im talking abou

and here is the best shot i could get of the magnifine lookin thing/fake projector.

i know they are crapy, but i got mine for literally ten dollars and i just wanted them so i could mount my 10k HIDs. it was the cheapest h4 housing i could find. it doesnt seem to really spread the light out to wildly

I have some projector lenses with the reflectors built into them. I got them out of a Volvo Semi truck at work. I belive they use a H4 or 9004 bulb. Im going to fab something up and use Lexan for a headlight cover. Anyone else want some? Let me know! The are the low beam side of the headlights on 2005 and up Volvo Semi's!

OH GOD!!!!!

those thing suck ***!!!

they make driving horrible!... i tried a set of those (with 6000k HIDS) wow i couldnt see anything... make the lighting complete crap! better off with stock headlamps or a flash light lol

the black reflectors dont disperse enough light out and make your lights very dim.. dont buy them... really dont

unless you retrofit a real projector, then they're prefect

yes, seen them and they have no cutoff. they spread light worse than most other shitty H4 conversions i have seen. no focused lighting = shitty lighting.

just get Some Stock sized (H6054) sylvania silverstars and be done with it... I have them them in both my rx-7 and my corolla (uses the same size) and they work great and are decently white.

that light housing is 100 percent better than tha stock halogens , the provide much better lighting , there may be better h4 kits but as far as how cheap and bright they are they are worth it, for 15- 20 bucks, im sure ye've spent more on plugs
