Bike Rack for '90 Conv-Suggestions?

Does anyone know a good Bike Rack solution for 2nd Gen (1990) RX7 convertible? Maybe a Yakima rack they use or something similar.

Thanks

One of those universal car ones should work. The rear deck of the vert is preaty simple and flat so the straps should hold just fine.

Original OEM racks only worked with the hatchback model.

You'd probably need a pullbehind bike trailer which wouldnt' be to hard to install.

Careful the previous owner of my car scratched up the plastic between the taillights probly pretty easy to avoid but i think it scratches easy.

i bought a nice rhode gear rack (revolution strada was the model). It installs fine and all.
The straps flapping in the wind (they were tight, too) kinda blacked the trunk top paint, and the hold bar (foam padded) that sits on the trunk top left a black mark. So expect some wear.
That model had straps everywhere, 2 l/r on top, 1 each side, 1 on each bottom side (8 total).
And not being able to get in the trunk was a major hassle, since that is the only storage space in a 'vert (top down).
I am considering a hitch and hitch mount rack now. It is a lot more expensive, but doesn't inhibit the trunk, and if not 'load bearing' a hitch installation shouldn't weigh too much.
A big drawback of the 'vert - no roof rack. I had been so spoiled by my Yakima Roof Setup.

A few years ago I got a Gräber deck-mounted two-bike rack for the "family car", a Volvo 850, when we lived in Madison, WI. The Gräber factory is right there, so a good choice. Turns out it fits perfectly on the '91 convertible as well. Has 2 mid straps, 2 rear straps and 2 side straps that hook onto the lid (plastic coated, with a nice padded bumper support and padded lid support). It is adjustable in any conceivable way and has nice, thick rubber supports for the bike frames, including a secure hold-down mechanism. Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it works fine for me. The only thing I don't like about these setups is that they DO hook onto the deck-lid and there is always a chance of rubbing off some old and worn paint on the edges... But, really no other option as I see it? Better build quality and design than most cheapo racks I've seen so far.

I bought a very nice bike rack with a rear hitch on eBay a few years ago (it came from Canada). The Hitch is Made by Draw-tite. You Simply removed the tow hitches, and it mounted right in. Once on, you can not really see it, and has plasitc cover. The Bike rack mounts right in. Looks great, and works even better.
