big problem???

got my oil changed today... asked the guy to check to see if he saw a leak that has been dropping about a [B]dollar sized[B/] spot of oil a night in my garage... he said it was coming from the connection of my engine to the transmission.... taking it somewhere in the next couple of days but what could it be??

also... realized bad idle was because of vacuum hose to pressure sensor was disconnected.... what did i fix?? (reason why it fixed it)

also when vacuum hose was connected.... noticed hose coming from relief soleniod was disconnected and was whistling.... connected it and idle ran bad for a couple secs then fixed itself kinda.... also at that point, smoke came up from behind the intake... i'm thinking it was from the oil leak touching something hot... or maybe not... could coneecting the vvauum hoses back to the pressure sensor and the relief soleniod be causing somthing bad??

could it be the reason for bad MPG??

Just a reply to your oil leak. If it is indeed coming from back of engine, it could be your rear main seal is leaking. Are you certain it's engine oil, not trans lubricant? Also make sure your not leaking any fuel on top of engine. Oil leaks are difficult at times to determine origin. Clean everything up, and you can even sprinkle talcum powder on certain areas to see where it originates. Good for water leaks also. Naturally if rear main, you can't get to that un;ess you remove flywheel.
