Big oil problem, need help

So have a really nasty oil problem;

The car smokes from around the turbo area, specifically around the manifold, but I can't tell where from, I've had it on a rack and watched, I never see any oil drip. I've re gasketed and siliconed every oil joint I can think of, nothing looks to be going on.

There is quite a bit of oil pooled in the compressor inlet every time I take off the TID.

Oil comes out the BOV (I know this because a film is being left on the surrounding area where it's currently aimed towards.

The car smokes, with the oil cap off it smokes for about 3 or 4 minutes no matter what, idle WOT etc. after those couple of minutes it stops smoking.

With the cap on the car smokes always and the smoke coming from the turbo area is significantly more than with the cap off.

I recently put on a new turbo (fresh rebuild etc.) that is a stock hot side with a T04 wheel, there is no shaft play (at least that is at all noticeable).

The smoke from around the turbo has always been going on, just not in huge amounts, I can touch the area and feel oil on the center section of the turbo, but I never see it drip down and I can't tell where it's coming from.

The exhaust smoke just recently started after driving the car for about 45 minutes total without the check valve line plugged into the TID.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,
Sam

The turbo inlet duct has a silver check valve inserted into it with a hose on it. That's from the crankcase vent. It is possible the oil is coming from there. So, leave the checkvalve in the turbo inlet duct BUT remove the hose that is connected to it. This will NOT cause a air leak of any sort.

Now drive the car for say thirty minutes to an hour. If you still have oil in the turbo inlet duct (having cleaned the duct prior to this drive), then the turbo is leaking oil from the compressor side. Get the turbo rebuilt.
