Most cost effective...
Buy a rear bumper skin from a wrecking yard. Try and get one the same color so matching isn't as difficult.
Take the bumper off, take your Rex to your favorite body shop and have them repair the unibody damange keeping the work localized as possible It's pretty local and with the bumper off, should take very few hours for repair. So, cost of professional repair should me minor.
Put the bumper back together and have bumper painted. It's the skin is totally a natural break from the body, shouldn't be difficult to bring it cosmetically close so only close inspection can tell it's different paint. Feathering the paint from the bumper should capture the small area on the unibody that has been repaired.
