poor -redneck.....i am not asking how to drive stick, i can drive the car perfectly fine, i'm just looking to improve my driving and was wondering the capabilties of the car/engine/clutch before you start ****** **** up! but i guess the general consensus is that there is room for experimentation which will be done along with your guys pointers as soon as all this damn snow and salt is off the streets.
thanks

If it's a N/A you need to be red-lining it.

The turbo IIs dont make much power past 6800 or so.
Since your car is N/A, you need to just go ahead and red-line it. That's one of the advantages of the rotary... they love to be red-lined

NO, do NOT slip at 4000.... there isn't much power there.

anywhere from 4800-5200 is fine... i get my best launches at 5200 and it pulls pretty hard.

That's true.......I hadn't thought of that...........dood just try it all, start at 4K, if you bog out try it a little bit higher until you get the right launch.......I launched my T2 under 4K and I got pretty good lauch......minimal wheelspin....keep trying.

take into consideration that he might want to drag the car every now and then... therefore slip at the peek power range. the S4 n/a's don't really have "tire burning" acceleration...

also take into consideration that the stock tires are probably discontinued

People underestimate N/A's and OBVIOUSLY i didnt mean the Original tires that came on the car... i meant size

n/a's are suppose to be underestimated... they're n/a's. quick, but slow.

they weren't meant for speed. let's be realistic.
