The simplest way to do it is to get a AFM adapter and then just pop on a universal K&N cone filter.

I agree. Depending on what filter you go with. I know Mariah makes a nice kit that will help you bolt it right up to the afm. You will just need to rotate it 180' I think. They even sell a box to surround it.

http://www.mariahmotorsports.com/ I think thats it.

yea pretty expensive. If money is a problem do what Ronac suggested. By the 2 doller adapter from ebay and toss on the filter.

and then the K&N filter (kn-rr3003) from your local car parts store.

I picked up an Apexi from rxstore.net for 99.00, I think they raised the price slightly since. That's as cheap as I've seen it.

The Apexi only fits S5's though.

So far it's been great. Changes the sound of the inhale, and looks fantastic. Install is relatively easy. I had to massage one bracket with a hammer to get it to fit perfectly, but that was only a minor setback, and well worth the trouble for the finished product.

Interesting stuff, this should get a sticky in the FC forum for awhile until everybody is aware.

So the HKS adaptor will have the air pump hose fitting? Can you buy the HKS adaptor seperatly, or do you have to get the mushroom to and discard it? That wouldn't be very cost effective.

No you can purchase the adapter seperately from the filter. Although the adapter does not have a hose fitting for the air pump......
