Unhappy Bad coilover - Making squishing sound when pushing on rear end??

Hey one more question about my recent Stance GR+ installation:

I noticed that when I push down on the rear of the car that the right rear coilover makes a loud "squishing" noise (like the oil inside moving around) while the left one is pretty much silent. It is a very noticeable squishing sound and none of the other corners make this noise...the rears are set to the same valving positions.

Is this normal or is the one squishing one worn out?? They are only supposed to have 400 miles on them but they are unfortunately out of warranty already.

Any input is welcome, I'm just trying to figure out if I got a bum deal. Thanks in advance.

Shocks can and do make noise, but why one does it and the other doesn't is strange. How does it feel? Does one side feel noticably different, either when pushing down on it or when driving?

I'm pretty sure the squishy side is softer, even on it;s hardest level it seems much easier to depress than the nonsquishy side.

So you bought them used then? Sounds like you may have been dealing with a dishonest seller, or maybe you've jut got really bad luck. You should be able to get a replacement, but if they do have a bunch of miles on them, it's best to replace them in pairs so that they'll be matched (well hopefully anyway).

I can get you replacement dampers, it won't be too expensive.

rishie this is the same coil that had the stuck lower mount, I was able to free it up with some oil but now this...I'm seriously regretting not just buying a new set from you...

could you pm me with details on getting the replacement specifically the cost.. I already emailed stance about possibly getting it repaired or replaced but hadn't heard back yet?
