Bad coil or ignitor? now what to do?

well im search of my surging idle i have come to the conclusion that i have a bad coil or ignitor on the leading plugs, with a new ngk plug i tested the spark and its a yellow spark. so that tells me its weak. now the issue is that a oem coil is 400 bucks from the parts store, i have tracked down a oem stock one. but is there a better alternative i can go? i am doing a 13b re swap this winter.
