Bac Valve

k guys i need your help

i need to now if your BAC valve has adjustment screw in it (attaches to UIM, helps idle)

so help fill in the blanks if your is diffrent form wht is listed please tell me

is it the same part on all rx7 turbo or no turbo

...whats the question? The only BAC's with an adjustment screw are TII's. N/As have an rich idle adjustment screw on top of the TB set that does the same thing.

That is not to say however that the BAC doesn't have a screw. All BAC's have an internal screw... thats how they work, but they aren't adjustable...

My 88 turbo bac had a screw, but it died, and i have a jspec bac w/ no screw.

ok so it is true the jspec bac valve does not have this screw then how do i adjust my idle so i can stop it from surging i took it into the delearship did vacuum leak test and ancheck all other idle relate stuff, th dealer said that there need to be screw in the t2 bac valve to adjust so to remove the surging.

If idle needs to be raised/lowered, it can be adjusted by the throttle plate set screw on the intake manifold. I don't think an idle adjustment will correct surging though. If the idle is stable, you'll be able to raise or lower the idle. Check the bac valve for an internal seal leak, and then make sure the tps is functioning/set correctly.
