BAC question

My car's BAC was removed, and I'm considering replacing it to smooth out the idle, particularly with the AC on. A couple newbie questions:

1. Will the BAC from the NA engine work on the TII motor? They appear to be in different locations in the Haynes manual?

2. Where do the hose(s) connect from the BAC?

3. Is it worth bothering to replace the BAC, or should I leave it as is, or maybe bump the idle up to 1000 or so?

Thanks!

The reason for your rough idle is probl'y coming from the failure of your cat. Removing the BAC goes in hand with removing your air pump. Which will cause cat failure.

Good point. All the emissions gear has been removed when the engine was rebuilt. It's due for exhaust work anyway, to replace the stock stuff that's on there. I just got the car a few weeks ago, and I'm working on prioritizing projects. Thanks!
