axle length difference
Ive got a s4 t2. Im installing my rear axles back on in the same location as they came out.
Are both axles the same length?
I noticed when I took them off, the passenger right side scattered grease underneath my car where the axle meets the differential. When I took it off the cap that holds the grease in, had popped off.
So I cleaned it, added more grease, and tapped the cover back on. On installation I figured why the cap came off. Im sliding the joint so far to get it to fit over those studs on the flange, the cv joint comes out and pops off that grease cover.
So I am wondering if the axle lengths are differnt, maybe they were switched before I bought the car?
