Hey, Im planning to get a 88 S4 TII. Wut would a suggested price for an 88 TII cost in a good condition with rebuilt engine, new tires, smogged, brakes redoned, rebuilt tranny and a new oem clutch. basically in good running order. original paint and body. the owner asking $4200 and price is negotiable. Any suggestion or anything?

Sounds like a bargain to me! Even allowing for the Aussie exhange rate, (add about another 25%) It's still a bargain! If that motor is truly a rebuild, then a lot of people would pay close to that, just for a turbo motor! And your getting the rest of the car thrown in!
I paid AUD $6,800 for a jap import turbo S4, that had covered 60,000Km, from an importer who had just started his business. Over here in OZ, the car you described would probably fetch about $10,000 AUD. Bob

I agree.. I paid 3500 for mine three years ago, but it was bone stock and had 130K on the original engine.. ran good, but i knew it was going to need a re-build when i bought it!!
