Aux port activation on S4

Aux port activation on S4
I am going to operate my S4 Aux Ports electrically and do not want to manualy siwtch the pump used on or off. I am trying to start a parts list for what I need to do this. I am having trouble understanding what the 'PILL" is. I need a MSD rpm switch and a 4000 RPM pill. If anyone has done this and can point me in the direction of some websites they bought their parts from that would be great. Thank you.,

do yourself a favor and don't use an electronic pump. It will fail eventually--they are simply not designed for that purpose, even the junkyard ones from other cars (Cadillac or Lincoln OEM pumps for various purposes). I went through this mess. use the stock smog pump and switch it with an rpm switch, which is basically what the s5 cars do from the factory. or if you have an Rtek 2.1, you can switch it with that.

Mazda has never used an electronic pump to control auxiliary ports. in the Rx-8's, they switched to fully electric motors for the aux ports, with a motor position sensor and a sophisticated control system.

the electronic setup wasn't reliable enough over the long haul, especially during 30-40 minutes of sustained hard driving. i wired them back open and didn't get the stock airpump hooked up before I sold the car. but if I could go back and do it again, I would definitely use as much mazda hardware as possible.
