All parts stores get they're info from wells, dorman, felpro ect. so what has happened here is some dumbass at felpro loaded the wrong number and it tricked down to autozone.

Now that is a load of crap about not wanting to return it, dueds an ***.

I used to work for autozone and I cant begin to tell you how often you hear people tell you the parts wrong when they're either giving you the wrong info or installing it wrong.
Ive had people tell me that their 1990 chevy didnt come with a thermostat factory. Or the guys who tell you their manual transmission needs a torque converter.

that said I hate autozone. Been there done that. Parts are just as good as anyone else and usually cheaper with the exception of uncommon parts like ours.
