Autocrossing the FC

Just wondering how many people here AutoX their FC's?

I'm planning on starting next spring with mine. For the past couple of years, I've autoXed my 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, but I don't have that anymore, and now I have the 7.

I can only imagine this will be more fun to run.

But I'm also wondering what classes the 7 falls under. I have a GXL, and I'll have Turbo II rims, and I have a strut tower brace, and that's it for mods. I know I won't be in stock class...but will I be out-classed based on those two almost meaningless mods?

I run mine in BP. But it is gutted and very modified. It is not a very popular class, so I end up winning every time I don't really care what my times are, as long as I improve on my own time. It is a lot of fun on an AC course, you'll have a blast with it.

I was in E stock last year with my totally stock GXL. I'm going to do a bunch of stuff to it over the winter, so I have no idea where it will end up next year.

Just remeber: If your run with the Sports Car Communists of America: If the rules DON'T say you can do it, then you can't!

yeah, the SCCA folk are brutal. And for only like 3 runs, no thanks!

I run with the BMW and Miata clubs up here in MA, and I always get at least 6 runs a day, and sometimes even some fun runs. Bunch of good people up here.

All I know is, I used to run in STS, and all my Subaru club friends run in STX. I think I'll be in a totally different class next spring...I just don't know enough about the rules to know where I'll be. I just mod my car to my preference, and race to the best of my ability.

We got 10 runs two weekends ago....... I can't think of a better way to spend $20. Don't get all wrapped up in the drama, just go out and have fun, bring some friends.
