this kid at my school thinks his parents new audi S6 will handle better than my rx7.

Its just a stock S6, and my rx7 has KYB agx's and eibach pro kits. is there any chance his S6 will out handle my car??

some day (when I get my engine back in) I'll find a place to race him. I really want to beat him so I can show him that just because his car costs $50,000 doesn't mean it can beat a $1,000 car .

am I right on this, or are those heavy luxury beasts somehow excellent roadholders?

 

Audi S6 340hp I'd say you've got some problems if you hit any straight aways. I know S4's handle quite nice from experience in one. However, I can't speak for the S6.

 

this would be just a handleing race. we both know I'll die on the straights.

 

oh yeah, and the S4's are the sportier ones, the S6's are the luxury ones. I think????

 

Just because they have some luxury doesn't mean that they can't handle. Trust me: these cars aren't to be taken lightly.

Car and Driver lists the S6's skidpad as .86g - not bad for a "luxury" car, eh?. All the same, I read somewhere that the stock skidpad for the 87 RX-7 Turbo is .91g.

Regardless, I'm confident that your setup can pretty much destroy an S6 in the turns. Things to consider: are your sways stock? How sticky are your tires? Do you have 100lbs of speakers in the back? Do you have light(er) rims? How about your brakes?

That being said, I'd run him - nobody talks **** to me without proof of fact. Even with an S6. But please be careful - he may outdrive the car just trying to prove a point and wind up losing more than just control of the car...

make sure he doesnt turn traction control off if not u have 1 dead friend hah, i swear all those kids with their cars with traction control as soon as they turn it off they crash the car within 15 minutes
