hey ren, I whole heartedly agree...... sigh

unfortunately i live in savannah GA for school but i am here during the summer. i do know of a car club that often meets at the Ag. center across from the airport. they set up some courses and if you arent a member it is like 15$ to race all day. they also had a race in downtown asheville at Belle Chere down charlotte street. i have been to a could of races and i dont remember seeing any FCs there were a couple of BAD *** FDs out there.

to hurleyboi, yeah i go to spartanburg sometimes. i actually bought my car at whitey's auto auction in greer. it was pure luck. i didnt see it when i looked at cars and i was onyl planning on spending 500$ if i happened to find a deal. it passed by me in the auction and no one bid. i was surprised so i went out and test drove it. it had 190000 miles on it but it runs great. so i bought it for 500 just so i could restore it. perfect body gxl with bad carpet and a clean running engine...cant beat that

to the breeeevard folk... if you went to brevard high you might know my cousin Aaron Pidgeon.

hey chris, as soon as i finish my car, (should be soon), ill be heading up there to go drive some roads. i think we got a bunch of ice and snow this week, so i might not go now... we need to go for another mtn cruise soon. hows that sound? lets get everyone around into this...

 

ken that sounds like a good idea, however I don't know if everyones cars will be running by then.
I have no engine,
jons intercoolers aren't strapped in
jim's rear main seal is leaking causeing his clutch to slip
Andy is in town and just got done putting is Supra TT intercooler in his AWD Eclispe so he will be ready to run
Zeff is going to convert his car from power steering to manual but he should be done with that today or tomorow.
Heath has remove his computer and comander and put his car in winter storage.

 

geez, ridge tech is one busy club, thats for sure!! im up for one when everyones ready. ive still gotta a few things ive gotta dink w/, but it should be 100% done soon. hows that MR2 turning out? i was reeeally impressed w/ it. i still want one...

 

i graduated from TC roberson last year so you are two years ahead of me if i remember correctly. do you still know him or see him?

i am getting ready to rebuild my engine with pineapple lightweight rotors and aftermarket apex seals. that will be fun

i'm a member of the msccnc, not very active but i'm on the list, and should be on the site soon, or so mike says.

as for Aaron, i haven't seen him in a really really long time, we weren't really friends, different crouds and all, but we know each other by name at lest.

 

I knew Aaron too, I was on the JV soccer team with him. That's cool that there are all these FC people around.


RX-7Impreza- have you been over to Mike Smiths? he's over in Mills River, another ridge tech member, Loren Allsteadt has a 90 gtu that is getting a rebuild over there. I need to go take some pics of Mike's FD that thing is baaaaaaad.

I used to be a hardcore mountain biker, but that was in middle school. I was only in JV soccer my freshman year.

Puppybear, Ridge Tech and I were all in Drumline together.

 

yeah i am a mountain biker as well. although i broke my rock shock coming down off of a jump in Bent Creek. snapped it in half.

i gotta get together with you guys sometime. trade some info on cars and maybe i can compare my 7 with yours so i know how slow i am and how fast i should be
