Arrow Apex'i messed up... anyone else have this issue?

I ordered an Apex'i power intake for my S4 T2 from the Apex'i USA website. The product was listed as follows:

507-Z002 MAZDA RX-7 FC3S 1986-1991 R2 1.3 Turbo 500-A022 $159.00
I assumed that it is for both the S4 and S5. When I received the product, I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with the intake tube for that price. It was essentially a maf adapter and a filter.

Afterwards, I was confused as to how it even attaches to my car. It has to be for the S5.

Now, a few days later, I see that on the receipt they included in the box it says:

507-Z002 PI, FC3S 13BT 89/4-91/12
What the Hell!!! So I just went on their contact page and there is no contact info on it. The area where it is supposed to be is blank. I should have went with the less filtering HKS shroom filter.

A google search reveled that this used to be on their contact page:

APEX Integration, Inc. 1449 W. Orange Grove Ave., Suite A Orange, CA 92868 Tel. 714.685.5700 Fax 714.685.5701 Business Hours Monday - Friday 9:00a.m.
I hope the contact information provided is correct when Monday comes around, and it didn't change hence the blank page. My receipt lists a PO box which is a little strange.

Anyone have a similar issue? Hopefully I get my money back and can have them fix the website so others don't go through this as well.

If you have an S4, you should of just got the MAF adapter and the filter of your choice, separately. I have a MAF adapter if you need one that I never used.

However, if you have an S5, just get the filter of your choice and clamp on the VAF.

Apex'i power intake is one of the biggest rip offs ever, hands down. or the HKS filter or most intake setups

Okay not 2 be an *** but do some research the next time before buying something, non of the name brand intakes(apexi, hks or anybody)makes a full intake for the FC3S.They only offer the MAF adapter and filter,NO PIPE at all!Corksports do offer a replacement aluminum intake pipe for NA engines thats about it,if you want a full intake you have 2 go custom like most people have done it

It's not like I went to autozone to get an intake. That's what is on the car now from the previous owner. I wanted a quality filter/intake that is specific to the car. Ps I've checked out corksport. I think I'm going to get thier FMIC because it sits behind the bumper kind of hidden. Not sure on the no-name filter included though.

@turboIIrotary k&n usually tests worse than oem filters in a lot of tests that I have seen. I just want to treat my roto right. I'm not even going to drive it until I am confident it is all set to see the street in good shape.

@datz what other errors have you seen?

why would you swap from a cold air intake to a hot air intake?

why would you assume that when you buy an air filter kit, that it will come with the turbo inlet duct?

what you did was assume. dont ever assume before you buy. try to find reviews, and try to learn from what other people have done.

What do you mean? I bought my car from a ***** rigger. It has a spectre cone filter that is so large it can't be clamped on and is bending the sheet metal on the car from being crammed in there. I did not get the car with the stock intake.

I assumed because it is called an "air intake". Not an "air filter". My last car, I went with an injen intake and it came with the intake tubing, and was around the same price range.

I made a mistake. I thought that I would be good with a highly known brand. I'll search or post next time. I just wanted to see if others shared the same frustration. Thats all.

i havent really seen any cause i wont buy into that bull sh** and my friends wont either. i just stuck a $20 spectre filter on and made a air box kinda, to get cold air from outside and block out alot of engine heat.
on intakes heat is your biggest enemy.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I called Apex'i and talked to a very understanding, English speaking customer service representative (after the Spanish lady passed the phone over because I didn't know what language she was speaking). He wanted to know what was wrong with the website in detail so it can be corrected, and sent fedex to pick up the package for a refund the next day. At their cost. Awesome.
