apex seals, turn them around?
on my rotor housings there is very little flaking where the traiangular part of the apex seal used to travel, if i do not want to get new rotor housings and can face the little triangle piece toward the front of the engine instead the rear can i do that? or is tehre a good reason why on both rotors the little triangle piece is toward teh rear of the housing?

The question arises...
Do you want one or two grooves in your rotor housings?
I realize we can't all be buying $400+ new housings, so it's common to reuse the grooved original ones.  I usually leave the apex seals the same way - why make more grooves?  At least if you run the apex seals the original way, the triangle assists piece fits in the groove to seal better...

i was thinking about that, that the trianlge will fit in there better, this motor went for 140k and still ran when i took the motor out, so if i get another 100k out of it with teh sels on other side i will be really happy, the quastion is how long will the engine go for with the littel triangle piece on teh smae side?
