Not sure when you say "reclock" but you can loosen the bolts that clamps on the hinge from the steering wheel down to the rack. Its right at the steering rack on the bottom if you look you can see a, I forget what they're called, but you can see the lil elbow joint the connects the steering rack to the rod. Then you can turn the steering wheel around like crazy without the wheels moving. Hope that helps some.

Remove the cover in the middle of the steering wheel. It's plastic and about 2inch diameter.

Get out the 13/16" socket and ratchet and unbolt the nut and set it aside. Pull the steering wheel off the SPLINED shaft. You might have a problem doing this the first time. It takes a but of force if it hasn't been off in decades.

Reposition the wheel on the splined shaft to where you want it.

Works on all my series four cars.

I must has misunderstood what you really want to do. This was too easy.

It could be as easy as repositioning the steering wheel, but I would really worry WHY the steering why isn't straight in the first place?
Can you say accident?
If the car hasn't had an alignment recently, it would pay to get the alignment done and tell the alignment shop you want the steering wheel straightened - they can do this all for you at one time.

Not certain as what you're looking for, but I would say that the rack must be centered first. Thun wheel from lock to lock and then move back 1/2 amount to center the rack. The steering wheel can then be removed and replaced to sit properly.

Meh, I installed my rack a spline off when I installed the clutch pedal assembly. I never found out until I drove it. Been that way since, betting that steering rack was a nightmare. So there is hope-- the steering wheel can be moved over a spine at the hub, instead of the rack links?
