And turn your "caps lock" off and use the "Enter" button at the end of each paragraph.

That will make it much easier to read what you wrote.

using a series 5 motor in a series 4 car, you just swap over any sensors (and the front cover) that the old series 4 motor had. So once you get your injectors cleaned, and timing set it sounds like you should be fine.

There's a little more to it than that. You have to get the new S5 ECU and wiring harness. I heard its pretty tough to rewire an S4 for an S5 engine. Plus you CANNOT use the S4 sensors on an S5 engine or on the S5 ECU. You WILL need ALL the S5 sensors, wires and ECU. S4 and S5 are not compatible

If he has swapped over all the external parts (which it sounds like he has done) there is no need to use the S5 ECU.

if there is no need to use the S5 ECU there is no need to use the S5 sensors.

he is not trying to make a NA car into a T2... he is just trying to get a S5 13BT block to work in a S4 with the S4 13BT stuff.

Kinda sorta.

S4 sensors will not work on an S5 harness (connectors are different in most cases)

However, there's nothing to stop you from using S4 sensors in the S5 block, with the S4 harness and ECU.

That's precisely my setup on the FC.

Sorry, I must have misread. i thought he was going to be using the S5 externals also. Block for block u should be fine minus the omp.
