You don't need fuel upgrades on an N/a unless your doing a bridge port or peripheral port of some kind. Nick's car still runds rich as hell and he has/had a large ITO street port and True Duals.

I don't think your going to be able to drive it on the street with straight pipes. cops will be on you like flies on ****. Not only would they give you tickets for no emmissions but for just being tooo damn loud. I mean I always hear some people say they get tickets with full exhausts including two mufflers and a silencer. You will not even be able to talk in the car man. spend a little extra for some mufflers.

sorry man you misunderstood i am gonna put some mufflers on cause i know how loud it will be!
i have a streetport and i figure the extra fuel wont hurt...my injectors are hitting 88% duty cycle at times (aftermarket ECU)

after i ran off track at black hawk farms raceway i bottomed out on some dirt and pulled off an exhasust hanger and poped open one of the exhaust connectons. And i must say, it was pretty loud for such a small crack. its funny how many people tired to race me when i went to my friends house to fix it, a loud car with race/class numbers on it really brings out the racer in everyone!
it was loud enough with just a crack, i can not imagine how loud it must be with just an open header.

i put in my new JDM tranny the other day and had to cut my exhaust off. i started it up.... and it put a smile on my face :-) hahaha. But anways i have a custom 2.5", gutted cat, no silencers, and factory mufflers, and its louder than stock but not bad at all. just turn the radio up that much more.

All this talk of straight pipes...have you ever seriously heard a rotary engine with straight pipes before??? Trust me, you WON'T like it for more than 5 minutes. It'll sound cool when you first put it on, but it'll very quickly loose the cool factor when you try to drive the car (yes it will be stoopid fast, but that's not everything), not to mention when you wanna think or go by a cop, etc.
It's just not a smart thing...take the small hit that you get with some pre silencers or at least something in there.

You will loose power from your aucilary ports not working on S4 cars. You would loose low end too since free flowing exhausts seem to do that. Ofcoarse you gain the mid-top end. Oh and bleeding ears. :-/
I would not rin straight pipes on the street. maybe on a track or to drag race.
