Anyone have a ScanGauge on their FC?

My buddy got one for his truck and he was telling me about, it seemed pretty interesting. I was wondering if anyone had one on their FC, and how they liked it?

No OBD port on FC's, which is what things like this use.

Ah ok, that's unfortunate.

How so?

I have a ScanGuage 2 in my DD and it's a neat thing to have. Tells me instant MPG, more accurate temperatures and vaules than analog gauges show. etc etc.

I like it

OBDII can go either way on a sports car, it can prevent you from modifying it for emissions or it can alleviate some of that by allowing you to modify without any hassle. would be nice having a plug in flash tuning device but there wouldn't be much support for it with rotaries like there is with many other cars.

Exactly. I love the fact there's open code for my Triumph to reflash it at will for free. Sports cars and bikes, that's one of the determining factors if I'm looking at a newer vehicle- is there freeware to reflash the ECU?
