Anyone have a Borla XR1 exhaust

I heard it's easy to bare with if you have pre-silencers or cats. Still pretty damn loud though. My prefrence i'd go racing beat or HKS, both stainless and good exhaust note and decent looking.
The Borla for looks isn't bad though. It has a flame finished tip on the end----looks like it has heat wear. pretty cool IMO. but get the flames the better way! remove all those emissions!

I use one for a pre-silencer along with a N1 for a muffler. It's not bad at idle and < 60 it's good. it's starts to get loud after that. and my system at 70-80 has an annoying drone. It's good quality.

i have a borla dual exhaust and a RB header with my main cat still in (for now), the damn thing sounds like a lawn mower on speed. Its pretty loud but im used to it. Its funny to fly by the ricers and see there scared faces. I'm gonna make a sticker that says "You were just beat'n by a lawn mower!!!!"

I've got a 3" downpipe to a 3" high flow cat, then a 3" cat-back with a single borla XR-1 as the muffler. That thing is loud. At idle it probably won't make you deaf, but the second you step on the gas it gets pretty loud. On the freeway below 60 it's tolerable, but above 3000rpm it goes into a very loud / annoying drone that is pretty much intolerable.
But, the muffler itself appears to be of very high quality, and it takes most of the edge off the sound.

PS i can get some sound clips if you really want...
