Anyone with a Camden SC track there car with success?
I do quiet a few open track days on my FC, about 1-2 times a month. I recenlty picked up a camden super charger for cheap, and I'm debating put it on in risk of blowing the charger at the track. The Charge only has 1.5k miles on it. So I'm wonder if anyone out here runs one, or knows someone who runs one and has had good success with it on a road course.
I only plan on running 6psi, and have the fuel to support it. I don't expect to make crazy power, just wanted a bit more power coming out of the corners, and in the straits.
But my main concern is just the charger seizing up on me on the track, and as this is my daily driver I don't want to trash anything.
The charger is 7" camden charger.
So is charger good for constant revs, 5-8k for 30-40 min sessions?
And I ask, please DON'T turn this into a turbo is better the SC debate.. Almost every thread I found on my search ended in this. I know a turbo will make tons more power, I already have a turbo rotary with 300rwhp. Just wanted a bit more power out of the FC.
Just looking for people who have ran a simlar setup, or know of poeple who have ran a simlar setup with success of failure.
I also have a koyo to help with cooling, my current temps don't exceed 190*F at the track.
Thanks for your time. And thank you for not turning this into a Turbo is better then SC debate.
