Maybe if a soldering iron is too technically advanced for you, or yours was submerged under water.

I think you mean ECU, which controls all engine functions like fuel and spark. The CPU is for the indicators, horn, reminder beepers and things like that.

What is the year and trim of your RX-7? I think I saw you on other forums. If memory serves me right, you own Sentra, RSX, Si, and Integra. Now RX-7?

no, no problems. it jsut struck me that that was probably the only part that was never replaced, and i wanted to see if my theory was right
