I have been looking high and low for an engine swap walkthrough for swapping a 13b-rew into an fc (1988). Don't worry i know about things like mounting and i already have that problem solved with mounts. I have the t2 tranny and 6 puck clutch and will soon be getting the d/s, r/e, and axles. Have an apexi dual exhaust and i have also know i need someone to make a downpipe. I will be using the stock ecu (unless recommended otherwise) and am also looking for a fd ignition system. Those are the main things i know. Looking around i have heard since i have an 88 i will have an oil metering problem? After that all i can think of is wiring. So will someone that has already done the swap or knows how to do the swap help me out or is there a link where this has been discussed already? Thanks

P.S. Helped my friend just swap his sr20 in his 240sx and i was amazed this kid had like documentaries on the swap. Unreal!!! They are the civic of the driftworld though.

FD ignition system is inferior to the FC system. Stay away. Go standalone with FC coils or aftermarket coils and go full non sequential (search rich man's non sequential in the 3rd gen forum) if you still want to have hair on your head. You will have to premix most likely unless you do harness modification to run a Power FC. You can't even run a stock ECU on an actual FD when you mod it or you risk detonation.

You will probably have to run a manual steering rack too and I would forget about A/C.
