you need 2. and 2 CDI boxes (msd ect) to run them...

the stock coils are fine.

if you want to run the blaster coils, you will need one for each plug (4), and a CDI box for each one (4). that is a lot of money.... or you could run 2 coils and 2 boxes on the leading, and run the trailing coil stock.

or you could run all stock coils and one cdi box on the leading coil

Actually, you would need 3 boxes...Two for the leading, and one (dual channel) for the trailing. But really, it's not worth it to touch the trailing, so concentrate your efforts on the leading. Honestly, the stock ignition is fine.

well the only reason i ask is that i'm breaking up at high rpm again. it's the trailing coil going bad *again* so i'm looking into a more stable alternative.

so i can't unbolt the coils on the trailing side (+&-) of each coil with out a box ok, any other alternatives replacing the stock coil every couple of months isn't going to cut it.
