Unhappy another electrical problem

i got a 88 gxl with a t2 swap with a couple mods had it for a month now from a previous owner. well every time i start the car and its on the radio and clock turns off. when i leave the key on acc mode, the radio and clock work fine. sometimes when i turn the car on the radio and clock works. also when i put the hazards on, all the lights on the car blink.(lights on the a/c unit, headlights...) so i searched the forums for a bit to see if i found anything and i came across the the super grounding thread. so i did as stated and now when i turn on the hazards on, the other lights don't blink. so that's 1 prob fixed! but i still have the prob with the radio and clock not turning on. i check everything possible! the fuse box and the cpu. all the fuses on the fuse box are fine. when i move the cpu around the lil beeping noise that indicates the door is open fades out on and off. some of the wires were cut so i put them back and blk. taped them to how the were suppose to. the little beeping noise still comes on and off. i was thinking it i have to replace the cpu. its a little loose when i move it around. is it suppose to be like that? i see only 1 screw on the top holding it, tried to see if there's another screw to hold it but couldn't. i think imma have to replace it? any ideas? oo and i also need to change the ignition switch. i dunno if that has to do anything with the problem im having.. i hate when people mess the original rx7 wiring, gives the next owner hell to try and fix it

well i checked all possible grounds. and i changed em because some of the wires were really correded. then i found out that the alt. wire was just hanging by 1 lil copper wire. so i just cut it out then fixed it back up. now runes good with no hesitation.
