When I was at work today one of my friends told me that my s5 was throwing black smoke from the muffler. So I check it out and well its nothing really, no black smoke Just gas. hes telling me that the car is burning oil and im just like wtf. all I notice is that the rx7 has like a strong smell of gas to it. But thats normal right? NO CATs no emissions. is it normal for there to be black "chalk" when you wipe your finger inside your muffler? This guy stressed me out. I just lost 50 HP on my *** dyno because of him.

Black smoke = fuel
White smoke = oil (unless the smoke evaporates, then it's steam = rebuild)
Strong smell of fuel + black smoke suggests you may be running too rich, but its difficult to hurt the engine that way (rather than too lean). Best way to tell would be with a wideband O2 sensor and an air-fuel ratio guage.
Max power occurs slightly rich of stoichiometric, but I do not think that mixture would normally result in a strong smell of gas.

RX-7 tend to run rich, especially if your a using a FCD. As far as burning oil, rotary engines use oil to lubricate(Seals, Ecentric Shaft) and they actually burn it by design. I wouldn't worry about it to much. But if there is a strong smell you should probably check it out.

How is it possible to lean the car out? I got like about 110 miles on a half tank of gas. and my rear end is always getting dirty because of how rich my car is running. I mean its probably not that bad but maybe it is and theres a solution, let me know guys, thanks.

You need a way to control how much fuel is injected. Either with a standalone, Rtek 2.1, or SAFCII or something, but before you start pulling fuel you need a wideband as stated above. If I were you I would do a full tuneup and see where my mileage was then.
