Am i as bad as an integra with a type r sticker?
i have an 88 se base model and i have a turbo 2 hood and 89 spec taillights. so when an rx7 person sees my car, they think it's an 89 turbo 2 when in reality it's an 88 n/a. i know i'm a riceboy but am i really that bad?
also, i have a sticker on either side of the car where a mustang's 5.0 would be that says 1.3 and i have a rotor pissing on a piston on my back window, and i have racing stripes, and my spoiler sticks farther back than my rear bumper, and i have two 6" mufflers

Well, Its hard for me to say this.. but you have a few things that together could put you in the rice boy category.
BUT: by having a car that is unique, and not a run of the mill see them everywhere civic, you are not a MAJOR ricer. In fact, if you were a little rice, Id have to say that in my book, you have the coolest ricey car Ive seen. Maybe the thing that is putting you over the edge are the two 6 inch pipes?
other than that 1.3 badges are ok, and a rotor pissing on a piston is cool. and the turbo hood makes the car look better... and you dont have any stickers for mods you dont have, so I would say, dont worry too much about it, you aint all that bad.

only mod sticker on the car is for a centerforce clutch that is on the firewall under the hood, which i do happen to have.
one thing which i would say keeps me from being a riceboy is that they spend gobs of money on body kits and 200 bucks on a cold air intake and **** like that, however here's my price list for my ricey mods
Turbo 2 hood...free
First Paint Job, including stripes...free
Second Paint Job, repairing damage from stupid me and painting hood...$150
Exhaust, cherry bomb and y-pipe with mufflers...$70
To get exhaust put on...$80 grr...
Rotor pissing on piston sticker...$8
89 taillights...free
1.3 stickers...$7
replacement spoiler exactly like mine...free
cone air filter, $18
duct tape and metal pipe to replace stock airbox which is remarkably similar to $200 cold air intake...$6
total rice costs...$339
that's like the price of just an exhaust and headers for a civic, not including body kit, 50 lbs of stickers, cold air intake, spark plug wires, and fake fmic radiator
if anybody reads the kill section, the title "Yes, my car is slow" probably suggests that i don't think my car is really fast. personally, i would consider it "quick compared to non-accelerating objects". if someone is going a certain speed, i can pass them with relative ease, but i do have more top end than a lot of cars, so i can pass pretty strong up til 115. if i was in the 15's, however, i'd consider my car simply "quick" because i could beat pretty much any year honda even with its 50 hp exhaust and 30 hp cold air intake and 10 hp spark plug wires and don't forget the vtec.
forget the v8's, although my car is as fast as my friend's 5.0 third gen camaro, and i have hung with a third gen trans am which was a v8, probably 5.0, i don't even bother with anything with a 302 or 350, no contest there.
mirrors would be a giveaway, and didn't t2's come with 16 inch wheels? cuz mine are 15 so i guess they would wonder why i downsized.

knowledge junkie
at least get the "SE" model stickers on the side so people know. I haven't put the TII hood or wheels on my convertible yet... waiting until I get the TII swap completed.

Um, yeah, both GM and Ford use 5.0 for their small block 300CI range motors, such as 302 and 305. Triangle man, you car is nice, forget about what anyone else thinks.. if you like it... thats all that matters.

I'd notice it wasn't a turbo2, and I'd notice it wasn't a series 5 t2 at that, and you know what? I wouldn't give a damn, if it's an rx7, you're welcome in my book, riced or not!

I waved at a dude in a blue NA with a supra spoiler, APC sticker, www.mazdaspeed.com sticker, chrome bling bling rims, and a fire extinguisher on the A-pillar...
