The TB is identical, but why would anyone even consider replacing this? Nobody ever did, the debate is replacing the whole manifold system between the N/A & TII.
The RB exhaust won't bolt to a stock turbo unless you use TII intake manifolds, because with the N/A lower, you have to space the turbo out, then the RB header will smack right into your firewall and not bolt on.
The difference between a narrowband (what an A/F gauge reads) and a wideband is pretty significant. A narrowband is HIGHLY inaccurate, basiccaly it's only range is like 13.7-14.7, everything else is either 'rich' or 'lean', where-as a wideband would provide you with a wider range of accuracy, giving you almost the EXACT ratio, from 10:1 to 21:1 or higher (with a .1 resolution & accuracy). You can wire the wideband into the gauge, but since the gauge only works on a 0-1v range, it's hard to make it accurate, where-as wideband generally uses 0-5v.

Passing life by
Makes sence but I have osme ?'s.
can you give me an exsample of a wide band to look at buying one?
TB...I was sugesting the replacement with a ported and polished one. The dyno sheets with one were quit impresive.
wouldent slightly having the downpipe bent solve this? or have one fabricated at a muffler shop?

That's quite a bit of time between dyno runs, but yeah, a ported TB definatly has a lot of benefits on a 400+hp car. Also, for widebands... There's a lot, hold on.

There are more but I'm too lazy.
Oh, slightly bending the DP would be almost impossible, the angle required would be too much to do and would then make the DP too short to bolt up properly anyway.

I cleaned up this thread for the last time.
This thread was supposed to be about specifically FORGETTING THE BS and posting real info. I even asked those without direct turbo-na experience to NOT POST. Unfortunately, some members insist on posting misinformation and ABSOLUTE CRAP.
If I have to clean this thread again, it will be cleaned to the point that it no longer exists. Is that clear?
