Airpump question

I bought an airpump off a guy here so I could pass emissions. I needed one from a s5 t2, and that is what he said it came off of. Now I have the pump and on the side it says 's4" on the casing. Is that related to what motor it came off of?

might be some kinda part number. I dont think Mazda designated their parts as s4, s5, s6.
