air pump

if i install headers to my 91 and keep the air pump, it wont have any bad affects to the car will it?

Make sure you get the header with the small extension for the air pump otherwise your 5th and 6th ports will not work.

Ports on S5 are ran by air pump, not exhaust gasses. Therefore, you can use any header you want.

Once you install headers, You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

The air pump, Aux ports & VDI. won't know the difference, but you will feel it.

It's too bad you have to keep the cat, but that's Cailfornia..

good that means i can add headers, but can't eliminate the air pump with the dual alternator belt pulley? thanks for all ur replys.

Don't eliminate the airpump, especially if you have to run a cat. Removing the air pump gains you nothing, and results in having to figure out how to activate the VDI and 5th/6th ports without it...
