Air Intake Option. Good or bad???

I was thinking of removing my wiper fluid tank out and placing the air cone in its location. I know that theres the air ducts from the front of the car that goes to the tires. Do i need those Air ducts??? I have the Mariah Front Bumper :

If i took out the ducts and had the filter in that place would i be effecting anything?// Do those air ducts work??? Also would water come into effect???

Has anyone tried this????
Let me know

LoS

I do know that you would have to cut that hole for the washer fluid tank to fit a filter....it's only like a 1.5 inch hole.

I can even pipe something up to the filter
and put the box around the filter
but my main concern is:
do those air ducts do anything???

I think that the Mariah website has info on what all of the ducts do on that bumper. I know that one set is for the brakes and the other is merely for the fog lights. I'm not sure on what great detail they go into, or if the ducts are in a useful place to flow air into the engine bay at all, but it wouldn't hurt to look. By the way do you have any other pics of the car, I'd like to see the bumper from some other angles if possible (if you have the side skirts and rear I'd like to see those too), I'm thinking about getting that kit since it's the most functional that I've seen thus far stateside.

By the way I like what you did with the mazda sticker in the window (MA7DA)...good $hit! Nearly brought a tear to my eye.
